HNRS 1103 - Freshman Honors Seminar Credits: 3 This interdisciplinary course, ordinarily team taught, will look at human nature and what it means to be human from a variety of perspectives. This course will ordinarily be taken during the honors student’s first semester at Newman. It will serve explicitly to teach a set of content/thinking skills, and implicitly to further a sense of community among the students and to communicate to incoming honors students the expectations involved in honors work at the university level. Specific readings and approaches vary by semester.
