EDUC 4033 - Principles of Secondary Teaching

Credits: 3
This course is part of a sequential phase of professional education and is designed to teach historical and contemporary status of secondary education and the purposes of education in a multicultural society. Methods of effective instruction, planning and organization, formal and informal assessment strategies, effective interactions with parents and developing critical thinking skills in secondary students will be the primary points of focus.
