Neuroscience, BS

The Neuroscience program is designed as an interdisciplinary program with coursework in Biology and Psychology. The program is intended to provide students with a strong knowledge base of Neuroscience. This degree prepares students for graduate programs or careers in medical research, research science, health education, counseling, psychology, social work, and medicine, especially for those who wish to practice psychiatric care, with the understanding that some specialized programs, such as pre-medicine, will require extra coursework. 

 

This major, minor, or concentration is offered online through a consortium of accredited colleges and universities. All courses within the program are delivered by faculty employed by partner institutions in the consortium, with technology and administrative support provided by Rize Education. Oversight of courses offered through the consortium are reviewed and approved by Newman University. Students register through Newman University and receive academic credit from Newman University.
