The interdisciplinary studies major is designed for both the traditional and the returning adult student who are returning to college, or continuing, with a substantial number of credit hours but has not yet earned a bachelor’s degree. The interdisciplinary studies major combines coursework from a variety of disciplines which is outside the scope of one specific degree offered by the university.

Degree Requirements:
33 Total credit Hours Including:
Two 15 credit hour approved areas of emphasis.
Within each area, 6 credit hours must be upper division (courses number 3000 and above).
Courses used to satisfy general education requirements may not be counted to fulfill the requirements in the two areas of emphasis.
NSP Requirements
All undergraduate students must complete the Newman Studies Program in addition to major area requirements.
