BIOL 6005 - Advanced Human Physiology

Students will consider the processes and mechanisms of human physiology at the cellular and systems levels, including discussions of 1) essential cellular function including organellar functions, cellular respiration, and genetic transcription and translation, 2) membrane and electrical physiology/excitation, 3) muscle physiology, 4) cardiovascular physiology, 5) respiratory physiology, 6) renal physiology, 7)gastrointestinal/digestive physiology, 8) the endocrine system, and 9) male and female reproductive physiology.

Prerequisite(s): Program admission.
