A survey of English literature, beginning with Romantics, moving through the Victorian era and concluding with significant works of contemporary British writers. Course includes readings of such writers as Blake, Wordsworth, Wollstonecraft, Keats, Charlotte Bronte, Tennyson, Dickens, Hardy, Yeats, Woolf and Joyce.
