HIST 4133 - European Military History Since 1415 Credits: 3 An examination of European military history from Agincourt to present. Technological advancements such as the development of hand-held firearms, artillery, and aircraft as well as tactical and strategic innovations from Gustavus Adolphus, Frederick the Great, the Duke of Marleborough, Napoleon, Clausewitz, Hindenburg, and Montgomery form the course’s foundation. Likewise, the changing role and make-up of armies will receive careful study.
