SPAN 2115 - Intermediate Spanish 1 Abroad Credits: 5 Co-taught with Newman faculty and cooperating language school faculty, an immersionbased, intensive intermediate Spanish course. Taught primarily in the target language, four skills: reading, writing, speaking and listening comprehension, will be developed, with grammar covering some comparisons of present indicative and present subjunctive moods, past progressive, past narrations and present perfect indicative and present perfect subjunctive. Short compositions, a final exam, a modified Oral Proficiency Interview and a short presentation will demonstrate lowintermediate proficiency.
