HIST 3473 - Europe’s Cold War and After Credits: 3 A detailed study of Europe’s resurgence from it’s nadir in 1945 to present focusing on both Eastern and Western Europe and the challenges of a bi-polar world. Major themes include the establishment of the Soviet bloc, economic recovery, secularism, technology, European unity and disunity, de-colonization, and the challenges of the post-Cold War world.
