ART 4183 - User Experience Design Research and Testing Credits: 3 In this course, you will learn how to plan and run a usability study and collect feedback about your design. Based on he feedback and insights from your research you will modify your low-fidelity design. By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Plan a UX research study that includes the background, research goals and questions, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and participants.
- Understand the importance of respecting privacy and user data.
- Conduct the usability study and take notes.
- Create affinity diagrams to organize, consolidate, analyze data and come up with insights.
- Modify low-fidelity designs based on research insights.
- Continue to design an app to include in your professional portfolio.
Prerequisites: PSY 4023 Cognitive Psychology and BDA 3103 Introduction to Data Analytics
