Nursing, RN to BSN

The curriculum for a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree combines liberal arts and science courses which provide a general and professional education for the registered nurse (RN). It is designed to advance the education level of the associate degree nurse to improve the quality of health care by challenging students to become liberally educated professional nurses capable of empowering others.

 

PreRequisites


Enrollment in the following courses is dependent upon meeting the admission requirements of the RN completion baccalaureate nursing program. 

  • Completed nursing application.
  • Evidence of licensure as a registered nurse.
  • Evidence of a professional liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000/event ($3,000,000 aggregate) must be on file in the SHCP administrative office.
  • A completed health exam form.
  • A background check.
  • A grade of “C” or better in the required coursework.

30 total credit hours
