NSG 4064 - Maternal-Newborn Nursing Credits: 4 This course focuses on biopsychosocial concepts related to childbearing. This course includes nursing care during normal pregnancy, childbirth, postpartal, and the neonatal period with discussion of selected at-risk conditions. Health promotion of the mother/baby and the developing family is emphasized. Clinical experiences occur in community and acute care settings.
