Admission into the Newman University Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program
The following are necessary for consideration of acceptance into the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program:
- Admission to Newman University
- Sixty (60) semester hours of specified college credits
- Completed nursing application
- Two letters of recommendation
- Completed medical form
- Interview with Admissions Committee
- CPR certification.

Traditional Program
The following courses must be completed prior to entering the Traditional Nursing Program: 62 Total Credit Hours Including:
*Lower division Patho also acceptable. For this major, a grade of “C” or better is required in all courses, including Skills, General Education, and Core courses.
NSP Requirements
All undergraduate students must complete the Newman Studies Program in addition to major area requirements.
